Samsung confirmed the Galaxy S8 would be big, but no one knew that it would be this big. During the first few days with sales, the Galaxy S8 has eclipsed analysts expectations with early sales as the S8 has moved well ahead of the Galaxy S7 with 30% more sales.

After just the first three days, when comparing the S8 and S7 sales become one of the biggest factors in a handsets early success, and outselling the S7 with 30% more sole, the S8 is undeniably the consumer favorite. Any why not considering both versions of the Galaxy S8 including the S8+ are larger than life while sporting a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch screen respectively.

30% More Suggests the Galaxy S8 over the Galaxy S7 in Consumer Sales

The initial worry for Samsung and the rest of the smartphone community was the negative perception the Galaxy S7 Note would have on the current release, but as you can see, it’s been all good. The South Korean tech giant has done a wonderful job in changing the perception of consumers of exploding batteries and have turned nay-sayers into believers with new features such as Bixby and much more.

The Galaxy S8 has seen its far share of problems during the first few days, most of which will be fixed with the most recent update. Some of the biggest problems has been one of the biggest marketing ploys as Bixby has had its fair share of hiccups with some carriers such as Verizon having the most.

So far, the Galaxy S8+ has outsold the 5.8″ Galaxy S8 with nearly 54% of the total sales. This goes to show consumer interest has changed from being portable to being more productive while on the go which gives Samsung more hope with the inevitable launch of the Galaxy Note 8.

Sammy has already confirmed the next release of the Phablet with a September 2017 launch the most likely. The S8 Note is rumored to sport a 6.4″ display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835, and of course, will come standard with an upgraded S Pen.
