After a brief pause, Android Wear 2.0 was finally spotted rolling out to smartwatches worldwide, glitch-free. After the initial roll-out of the highly regarded new Android Wear operating system which was paused after numerous bugs and issues, round two started for some of older Android watches.
Those sporting a Fossil Q Wander, Polar M600, Fossil Q Marshal, Nixon Mission, Michael Kors Access Bradshaw, and Michael Cors Access Dylan should now see the update available. Others sporting a TAG Heuer, Fossil Q Founder, and Casio WSD-F10 have already seen the update which is expected to hit more smartwatches in the coming days.
The Android 2.0 roll-out commenced after a 2-day pause and includes features such as a stand-a-lone Android Play Store, Material Design, new watch faces, Android Pay, as well as new messaging, notifications, and fitness options.
To install Android 2.0 on your watch all you have to do is connect to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and install the update. You’ll want to make sure your smartwatch is on the charger as the update is quite a drain on your battery.
