LG created an amazing concept with the G Flex smartphone, and the upcoming flagship will be the best one yet. We’re getting plenty of information on the new LG G Flex 3 including when, where, and what will be featured in the new concept. It’s looking like huge improvements in the G Flex 3 including a larger display and much faster processor.
The latest rumors on the LG G Flex 3 release date suggest a March 2015 worldwide launch with the official unveiling coming up in January 2016. Consumers’ expectations are already at an all-time high, and when looking at the possibility of a 4K 6” display it’s easy to figure out why.
Early rumors on the specs include a full 4K resolution, but we’re not so sure if this will become a reality. A QHD display is more likely, but we fully believe the screen size will be upgraded to a full 6 inches. As consumers look for something bigger and better, it seems like the G Flex 3 will be just that.
We’re also hearing the new Qualcomm 820 SoC will be featured which may end up delaying the launch just a bit. With Qualcomm’s new 820 processor expected to be ready for mass production early next year which may or may not be ready for a Q1 release date.
Much of the G Flex 2 will rollover to the new model including the rear button controls, bendable display, and self-healing feature. We’ve been hearing LG will be looking at a higher quality looking design which will include a full-metal body. We’re also hearing that Android 6.0, Marshmallow will come preinstalled which will be one of LG’s first smartphones to do so.
We’ll keep you updated on the official unveiling of the LG G Flex 3 which is expected to come out of the 2016 CES event in January.
