It seems like Meizu’s new flagship will be featuring Flyme 4.5 after-all despite early rumors suggesting it wouldn’t. The new leaks surprises us all as the latest version of Flyme was thought to become an OTA install well after the launch. We’ve been hearing the rumors on the upcoming Meizu Pro 5, and here in a couple of days we’ll see the official unveiling.

The Meizu Pro 5 is the high-end smartphone expected to be launched on September 23rd, and while no official details have been provided we have a great deal of insight of what’s expected. Flyme 4.5 will be pre-installed and 5.0 will be an OTA update following close behind.

The unveiling is expected to come at a huge press event which has been teased for the past couple of days. The specs of the new flagship is expected to feature a 5.7” display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920, 21 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera, and 4GB RAM.

Consumers have been patiently awaiting the Meizu’s Pro 5 which is expected to be significantly better than the current model. The latest version of Lollipop will be preinstalled with a future update to Android’s 6.0 operating system, Marshmallow, following close behind.
