If you’re one of the many sporting a OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T smartphone, you may have already seen a new beta update rolling out. The new OxygenOS update is officially dubbed Open Beta 14 and provides numerous enhancements including Bluetooth and battery improvements. The update was first spotted yesterday in some markets, but should be rolling out in more force over the course of the next few days.
The OxygenOS Open Beta 14 update significantly improves Bluetooth connectivity, minimized battery consumption, is much more accurate with GPS tracking, along with a slew of other features. Another welcomed addition was a fix to Night Mode of both phones.
The glitch in the former version was that some users were unable to turn off night mode which was designed to help those looking at the screen at night.
The newest update comes just two days after the official OxygenOS 4.1.3 updates which gave users better functionality on Android’s Nougat platform. The Android update to 7.1.2 is now available on both handsets which was originally announced back in January.
Many handsets seen huge enhancements such as the Google Pixel and the Nexus 6P which now have support for fingerprint gestures. Not all Android smartphones will see the 7.1.2 update with the upcoming launch of Google O, which is the newest operating system.
