Xiaomi has just made it official, and it seems like the new Mi 4c will be unveiled in less than a week. The Xiaomi Mi 4c will be the latest installment from the Chinese start-up and will be made official during the press conference on September 22nd. There has been a lot of speculation and leaks out of China, and it seems like much of what we’ve been speculating will become a reality.
The Xiaomi Mi 4c launch will become available to consumers in China in two models including a 2GB model with 16GB of internal memory, and a slightly more expensive handset featuring 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
We say the term slightly more expensive as the Mi 4c will be anything but expensive when it launches early October as it’s expected to feature a starting price tag in the area of $120 USD. Early reports suggest the Mi 4c will be a limited release with only 100,000 handsets becoming available for purchase.
This seems hard to believe considering the popularity and huge consumer expectations hot on the heels of the recent Redmi Note 2 launch in China. Xiaomi beat out all kinds of its own records selling more than 1.5 million handsets in just over a month.
The launch of the Mi 4c in China is expected to be equally popular if not more with consumers in the Indian market awaiting an official word. Speculation suggests it won’t make it to outside of China, but we’re holding out for an announcement on a possible India Xaiomi Mi 4c launch that may, or may not happen.
