Since launching in 2015, the Mi Note series has become one of the best-selling plus sized phones on the international market. This was before the Galaxy Note 7 went up in flames, but seems like it was resurrected by Xiaomi which draws numerous comparisons. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 boasts numerous high-end features which was seen in the Note 7 concept including a bezeless design and dual curves on the front and back.
The Mi Note 2 is the first Xiaomi smartphone to support Global LTE bands and fully demonstrates the direction of the Chinese start-up. With other manufacturers looming in the mid-range smartphone market, Xiaomi gives a refreshing look to the Mi Note series at almost half the cost of other models.
With a price tag of $420 US, the Mi Note 2 comes in at almost 1/2 the price of the Note 7 when it launched during the summer of last year. With similar specs and an amazing design that almost mirrors Samsung’s former Phablet, but it missed the mark on the camera quality.
