Android 2.0 has been seen rolling out to smartwatches around the globe over the past couple of months and we’ve just received word when two of the most popular models will be getting the update. Both the Asus ZenWatch 2 and ZenWatch 3 will be getting the Android 2.0 update early Q2 of 2017 which should be in a couple of weeks.
The latest news will appeal to numerous fans of one of the top-selling lineups of Android smartwatches as the Android 2.0 operating system is the best thing for smartwatches since they debuted. The ZenWatch 2 and ZenWatch 3 Android 2.0 update follows a slew of updates for other smartwatches who have yet to see it.
Android 2.0 is easily one of the most anticipated Android operating system updates this year, and when you see what’s inside it’s easy to see why. 2.0 brings with it numerous enhancements including standalone application support, enhanced notifications, more intuitive Google Fit app, and of course, Google Assistant.
The ZenWatch 2 and ZenWatch 3 will not be the only smartwatches to get Android 2.0 in the coming weeks as the following have all been confirmed:
