It’s amazing how fast rumors start in the tech industry, especially considering we’re hearing about next year’s flagship from LG when this year’s has yet to launch. Tomorrow, marks the day when the LG G6 is become available in Europe including the UK, and we’re already hearing some starting revelations on the 2018 launch of the LG G7.

New LG G7 rumors suggest we’ll see a true 4K display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160. This really comes as no surprise considering it was only a matter of time before UHD resolution technology made its way to smartphones when the higher than HD resolution has already taken over other tech devices such as TV’s and laptops.

Early Rumors on the LG G7 to Sport True 4K Display

We’re also hearing the LG G7 could sport a dual independent display which was rumored in the LG G6, but we all know it never happened. The dual display was confirmed by LG to be featured in an upcoming launch, but no confirmation has been made since if it will be a flagship or other model.

The LG G6 is up against some stiff competition with the most notable Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+. Samsung got the upper hand with a launch that came a few days before the G6 and when comparing both side by side there’s really no comparison.

It’ll be interesting to see how LG handles another sub-par performance in what was once heralded as one of the best smartphone franchises available. Now, the LG G series has become a sort of consolation and is barely competitive on the international market with the likes of Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi.

We’ll continue to update you on the latest LG G7 rumors and confirmations, but for now, be sure to tell us your thoughts on a dual screen LG smartphone.
