What seem to be the upcoming Huawei Nexus 6 has been spotted running through a benchmark test as the latest info of things to come are finally here. The new Nexus handset will be introduced by two manufacturers in the coming weeks as both Huawei and LG are looking to make their claim on the new Nexus 6 smartphone.
The Huawei Nexus 6 specs looks to be much of what we’ve been speculating including the Qualcomm 810 SoC. The 810 is expected to be an enhanced version of what’s received negative press in recent months as upgrades and updates is said to keep the processor running much cooler than we’ve seen in the past. The Huawei variant will be running an octa-core processor and was clocked at 1.3GHz during the test.
The leaked benchmark test confirms the latest rumors on a September 29th official announcement. If the unveiling does come on the 29th like we’re expecting, the actual release date is likely to be during the middle of October. This supersedes early speculation the Huawei Nexus launch would be delayed until early 2016 due to an entirely new design consisting of a dual edge concept.
The new LG Nexus smartphone which is believed to be called the Nexus 5X or Nexus 5 (2015) in simpler terms was seen sporting the Qualcomm 808 hexa-core processor. The LG variant will also feature a 5.0 or 5.2” Quad HD display and is also expected to be announced on the 29th.
As of now, there’s no official word on the launch price of the Huawei Nexus 6, but speculation on the LG version launching for $399 would suggest the price will be comparable.
