The 5th installment in the Galaxy Note series has made quite a debut in many markets around the world, and now it looks like the Galaxy Note 5 will be coming to India. The confirmations on the release date and launch price is somewhat surprising considering the new Note just debuted in other markets a few weeks ago.
The India Samsung Galaxy Note 5 release date is confirmed, and on September 20th consumers can pick one up. The newest addition of the Phablet in either a 32 GB or 64 GB option along with color options including black, silver, and gold. The launch price for the 32 GB model will be Rs. 53,900 ($842) while the larger 32 GB model will be priced at Rs. 59,900 which is the equivalent to about $935. Your nearly Rs. 54,000 will get you a high quality handset featured in a full-metal chasis that also features Gorilla Glass 4 for enhanced protection.
The specs include a 5.7” Super Amoled display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560, octa-core Exynos chipset, 4GB RAM, 16 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera, and a 3000 mAh battery. There is also a fingerprint scanner over the home button and the new Note 5 now features a stylus release button.
