The rumors have been out for some time, and it now seems like Google is getting to announce the launch of two new Nexus 5 smartphones. The 2015 Nexus 5 smartphones will introduced by two distinct manufacturers as LG and Huawei will be offering the next lineup in Google’s flagship handsets.
The LG Nexus 5 (2015) will be the Korean manufacturer’s third take in Google’s lineup during a huge launch announcement on September 29th. It’s uncertain if the LG model will be called the Nexus 5 with rumors out that it may be called the Nexus 5X.
The specs and features expected include a fingerprint scanner on the rear of the handset which has also been seen in many leaks out of Korea. It will also feature a 5” Quad HD display, six core Snapdragon Qualcomm 808 processor, and 3GB RAM.
The new 2015 LG Nexus 5 is also expected to be the first smartphone launched with the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed which has been the trend of previous models. All this and were hearing the launch price will come in at $399 which is pretty good considering all that’s packed in.
As of now, there’s no word on the launch of the Huawei Nexus 5 (2015), but we’re hearing it will be before the end of the year. We can expect similar specs and features as the LG model, but this is mere speculation for now.
