LG Nexus 5X Specs Include 5.2″ Display, Qualcomm 808 SoC, and a Mint Green Color Option
With Google partnering with both LG and Huawei on their new Nexus 5 flagship which are both expected to be made official in a couple of weeks, the rumors are coming in on what to expect. It seems like the LG version of the new handset will be known as the Nexus 5x or Nexus 5 (2015), and will sport some high quality specs.
Both are expected to be made official during a huge Google event on September 29th with a launch price in the area of $399 for a 32 GB model. The LG made handset will be the third over the years, and is expected to be the best one yet.
The LG Nexus 5X specs are rumored to include a 5.2” display with a 1080p resolution, 1.8Ghz Qualcomm 808 SoC, 2GB RAM, 2700 mAh battery, 13 MP rear camera, and 5 MP front-facing camera. The LG model will also come in two models including a 32 and 64 GB of memory.
One of the latest leaks on the new Nexus 5X are on a unique color option. We’ve seen renders appear online sporting a mint green color option to go along with the conventional launch colors we’ve seen in previous models. There seems to be many similarities between both versions including the Huawei Nexus 6 which will be announced the same day.
The new Nexus lineup will also be the first handsets to feature the latest Android operating system as Marshmallow 6.0 will come pre-installed. As of now, the official announcement is expected on the 29th of this month which could mean consumer availability may come as early as the end of October.
