In the smartphone world, where there’s one there’s usually a second not far behind. The same is being said with Xiaomi as they just unveiled the Mi 6 in China a couple days ago, but now it looks like their about to unveil a Plus sized model in the next couple of weeks.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus looks to be a slightly larger version of the smashing Xiaomi Mi 6 which was just unveiled and looks to be the best one yet. The Mi 6 Plus was just spotted passing Chinese certification with the model #MDE40 which usually means it’ll be made official within a couple weeks.
The Mi 6 Plus is believed to sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC which will be powering most Android flagships launching this year. The GS8 and GS8+ debuted sporting the next generation processor with rumors swirling it’ll also power the HTC U 11 which will be announced May 16th.
We’re also hearing we’ll see other flagship specs including a full HD 5.7-inch display, 6GB RAM, and two models at 64 and 128GB. Of course, none of this has been confirmed by Xiaomi, but we’ll be patiently awaiting the official announcement.
We’re hoping Xiaomi launches the Mi6 Plus in other markets other than China, but doubtful considering the Xiaomi Mi6 will not make it out of the Chinese market, at all.
